Description
Making her big screen debut in "Mogambo" (with Clark Gable and Ava Gardner), Grace had a sadly brief but memorable career opposite leading men such as Gary Cooper (High Noon), and Bing Crosby (High Society). As a "Hitchcock Blonde", Grace starred in three of the best known of the great director's films:-
"To catch a Thief" with Cary Grant; "Rear Window" with James Stewart; and "Dial M for Murder" with Ray Milland.
In 1956 she gave up her career to marry and became Princess Grace of Monaco. She devoted her life to her family and to her charitable work, which following her tragic early death, is continued by the foundation that bears her name.
